Looking for something we don’t normally carry in the EWA Store? You can now submit a Special Order to request items directly from the Commissary at Yokota Air Base.
This service is designed specifically for items not regularly available in our store. While we’d love to do more, we unfortunately can’t accommodate full grocery lists or bulk personal shopping requests.
✅ How It Works
The EWA Store sources its stock from the Yokota Commissary every Thursday. The Commissary offers a wide range of products similar to what you’d find at a large American supermarket, making it a great resource for hard-to-find items.
Here’s how to place a special order:
🕔 Order Cut-off: Submit by Fridays at 5:00 p.m.
📦 Pickup Day: The following Thursday after 3:00 p.m.
📋 Item Limit: Up to 10–15 different items per request (no quantity limits on each item)

Orders submitted after the Friday deadline will be processed the following week. This means a wait time of up to 13 days.

This service is only for items we don’t currently stock, we’re unable to provide additional quantities of in-store items.

Though we’ve expanded the item limit, we cap requests to ensure we can still sort and prepare them alongside our main stock delivery.
✅ BX Appliance Orders
Our regular pickup day for special orders is Thursday, coinciding with our weekly Yokota run.
If you need your item on a different day, please contact Fleet Services directly, additional delivery charges may apply.
💲 Delivery Fees Overview
The following delivery fees apply to all orders picked up at the EWA Store. These fees help cover the coordination, purchasing, and handling of your items on your behalf.
Typically, the EWA Store acts as an intermediary between the BX point of contact and you — ensuring your item is located, purchased, and ready for pickup during our scheduled run.
The store receives the item into the POS system, sells it at cost, and adds the applicable delivery fee to your bill.
In some cases, customers may purchase items themselves (either at the BX in person or online) and request EWA Store pickup.
In such cases, the item doesn’t need to be received into our POS. However, customers should contact Fleet Services directly to request a quote for the pickup fee, as charges may vary depending on the item and timing.
